In 2005, two brothers, Matt and Jon Besch, saw a business need in Carteret County and jumped on the opportunity--Indoor Advertising. This original idea has expanded into an advertising agency featuring print, web and identity branding services for small and medium sized businesses. Growing up, the brothers lived a pretty transient lifestyle--spending their youth in Wisconsin, North Carolina, Kansas, Kentucky, and Oklahoma. This sort of moving around wasn't always easy to handle as kids, but it did help both brothers become a little bit more outgoing and helped develop a willingness to try new experiences. Matt's educational background includes receiving his undergraduate degree from Kansas State University and a master's from Wichita State University. His job history has been very eclectic, from working in the media relations department of the Denver Broncos to captaining charter sailboats in Key West. Currently Matt enjoys spending time on the water, going to the beach with his wife Allison, son Eli, and their dog Guinness, and trying to learn how to successfully hit a softball out of the infield. Jon's route to Beaufort was a touch different. He spent four years in the Navy traveling the world and eventually found his way to Key West where he worked as the friendly neighborhood bartender. After breaking the hearts of numerous girls in Key West, Jon made the move back to North Carolina in 2005. Nowadays, you can find Jon spending most of his time with his dog Hank, playing softball, and making the people of Beaufort laugh behind the bar at one of the three drinking establishments in town. He's still single and breaking hearts. |
